History was made for the Lady Bruins on Sunday after their win against LSU; they will be headed to their first final four in franchise history. UCLA has had a great regular season, losing only two games, and their success brought them deep in the playoffs. The Lady Bruins were able to win the championship for the Big Ten Tournament earlier in March, and now the Bruins are looking to become the NCAA Women's champions. If they continue to compete at the rate they’ve been playing all year long, their chances of winning the entire tournament will be high.
UCLA is set to take on the UConn Huskies which should be a very good and competitive game because these are two great teams. UConn is led by their star player, Paige Buekers, who has gained huge popularity because of her greatness on the court. UCLA is led by their 6 '7 center, Lauren Betts, who is a literal walking double-double machine. The game is set to tip off at 6 PM this coming Friday.
Watching the success that UCLA has had this season, I believe that the Bruins could advance to the championship game. UConn is a great team with amazing players on their roster, however I strongly think that the Bruins can defeat them and be closer to becoming the NCAA champions.
