On a bright fall morning in Pennsylvania, one of America’s most well known restaurant industries received a visit from the infamous Donald Trump. A visit that McDonald’s had not been planning or had any involvement in. Upon arrival, Trump decided to throw on a McDonald’s apron and proceeded to clock in. As a troll regarding a remark made by Kamala Harris during her recent campaign on various occasions. According to CNN, she claimed to have worked at McDonalds for a short period during the summer of 1983 during her time as a student attending Howard University in Washington. A claim to which Trump disputes without evidence. New York Times explains that forming outside the restaurant during the time of the event was a crowd of passionate Trump supporters coming together for a tailgate party in the parking lot of a strip mall. Eventually with a crowd of Trump followers with supportive t-shirts came a group of people coming in protest of Trump’s first shift at Mcdonald’s.

From then on, the two sides spent a sizable portion of the afternoon shouting and screaming in defense of each side including debated topics between the two candidates such as Project 2025, transgender youth, abortion and tariffs. In response to Trump's visit, a number of individuals appear to be upset for a number of reasons, one being that a presidential candidate brought a restaurant, especially such a big symbol, into the process of the campaign. Although this McDonald’s visit of Trump’s did work up quite a generous amount of talk, there seems to be quite a couple of opinions and maybe even a couple small laughs.
