Kansas City Chiefs: No Longer Undefeated

The Kansas City Chiefs have been the only team in the NFL to be undefeated, well up until week 11. The Chiefs have been 9-0 the whole season, but once they met with the Bills, they were no longer undefeated. The Bills took the win over Kansas City, with the final score being 21-30. It’s no surprise that the back-to-back Super Bowls champions would be having such a great start this season. Even though they did lose their first game all season, they won’t let one loss affect the rest of their season.

The Chiefs are looking to become the first and only team in the NFL to win three consecutive Super Bowls. With such a great start they have had this season, it just might be possible. Even with the costly mistakes they make during the games, they always find a way to bounce back and change the perspective of each game.

For the past two games the Chiefs recently had, they were not playing their best at all. In week 10, they played against the Broncos and it seemed as though they were going to lose. It was seconds before the game clock ran out and the Broncos needed to kick a field goal to win the game. I figured that field goals are pretty easy to convey, so I pretty much gave up hope for Kansas City. The Chiefs' defense stayed locked in, and they were able to pull a miracle. They blocked the field goal kick. When they played the Bill, they were down almost the whole game, playing catchup for almost the whole game. Toward the fourth quarter they were able to give themselves a better chance of winning. Unfortunately, they just couldn’t grab the win.

Kansas City has been great when it comes to grabbing the win, especially when they are down by points. In fact they have won eight of their ten games when they have trailed by points. I have high hopes for what Kansas City will do this season, and see if they can perform a 3-peat.
