For the Chiefs Black Friday game, they were able to activate star-running back, Isaiah Pacheco, to finally resume his season. He suffered a severe injury in week 2, a broken Fibula, and was placed on the injured reserve (IR). He was estimated to miss about six to eight weeks, and possibly return towards the end of December. Fortunately for the team, and Pacheco, he was able to return earlier than expected. Luckily for Kansas City fans, they were able to acquire him for the holiday game, giving them another thing to be grateful for this season. Kansas City fans were definitely eager to get Pacheco back on the field, and see what more he can do for the team.
He made his debut against the Las Vegas Raiders on his home field, so he definitely felt the love from his fans. Even though he didn’t start, the second he hit the field, Kansas City fans rose to their feet and cheered for him. This suggests that Pacheco definitely is the kind of player that impacts the team in the best possible ways, and it does not go unnoticed. He led the game in Rushing Yards: with seven carries and 44 yards. He definitely proved that he will always come up as a game leader even if he doesn’t start.
It was great to see the Chiefs get a win on Pacheco’s first game back, and remain 6-0 at home. With Pacheco back, many fans, including me, cannot wait to see what more he will contribute to the team. With his return, I definitely do not want to see the Chiefs lose anymore games, and complete their season with only one loss on their record.
