Is it Too Early to Get in the Christmas Spirit?

Passing by your local neighborhoods, I am sure you came across a couple of houses that are already decorated for the holiday season. It’s pretty common for many people to start decorating for Christmas right after Halloween. It’s kind of like the world forgetting that there is another holiday coming up, Thanksgiving, and they just transition quickly to Christmas. Since Christmas is practically at the end of December and we are barely starting November, do you think it may be too early to get in the holiday spirit? I asked a couple of people their thoughts on getting ready for Christmas in November, and here’s what they had to say.

Mr. Hoover says, “It’s too early, and it’s best to decorate after Thanksgiving instead of before.” Terrell Carter also says “It’s too early to be prepared for Christmas.” Aaron Sharp also tells me that “I think it is too early because people forget about Thanksgiving, and just forget about being grateful and skip right to the presents.”

Ryan McCarty disagrees by saying, “My house has been decorated, and Thanksgiving is just part one of Christmas.” Melody Clarke and Leilah Sanford both said that their houses are both decorated.

This is a very controversial topic that can go both ways since this is strictly opinion based. It just all depends on how you feel about the holidays and how quickly you want to get in the Christmas spirit.
