Alyssa Naeher is one of the best on the USWNT! She started with the USWNT in 2014 and has been great since the beginning. She's been a solid wall in goal for the team, and her skills were super evident in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. She has had incredible saves and she really kept the team in the game.
Her performance is always top-notch, and she's got this calm and collected vibe, even when the pressure is sky-high, no one can break her.
Naeher's journey has been amazing to follow, from her early days in soccer to becoming one of the best goalkeepers in the world. It's players like her that make watching the USWNT an absolute thrill.
Her performances have been nothing short of spectacular, and she always brings her A-game to every match. Whether it's making acrobatic saves, commanding her defense, or distributing the ball with precision, Naeher is an absolute force to be reckoned with.
One of my favorite moments from Naeher was during the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. In the quarterfinal match against France, she made a series of crucial saves that kept the USWNT in the game. It was a true display of her skill, agility, and composure under pressure. She showed the world why she is one of the best goalkeepers in the game.
Following the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup upset, where Sweden advanced, she has made 6 saves in PK shootouts which has helped her team claim the CONCACAF Gold Cup championship and the SheBelieves championship.
With her talent and determination, there's no doubt that she will continue to shine and make a significant impact on the USWNT. She's a true superstar and a vital part of the team's success.
