Today, on October 28, 2025, there was an electrical issue in the 200 wing of Mayfair high school. This caused immediate concern for the people in the wing and issued for those in range to move to the gym for the time being. Many students, teachers, and admin were alarmed so the fire station was called in order to assess the situation. One student reported that other people should stop falsely pulling the fire alarm because situations similar to this one could occur again. 

Izzy Linares is a huge contributor to Mayfair high school with all the activities she is currently involved in. Some of the activities she’s involved with include ASB and beach volleyball. One of Mayfair’s most actively involved students is 2026 senior Nayeli Gatica. Nayeli is involved in ASB, girls volleyball, beach volleyball, AVP club, and pickleball club. Nayeli is on the varsity girl’s volleyball team as an outside hitter and setter. Drew Struzan was one of the greatest artists of all time in Hollywood during the “New Hollywood Era”. Some of his pieces include poster art for the original trilogy for “Star Wars”, “Indiana Jones”, “The Back to the Future”, “Harry Potter”, “Blade Runner" and many more.
